Sursol™ is non-toxic, non-flammable formula kills the germs on your skin by killing the pathogens before they enter your body.
Sursol™ is quat-based and continues to kill for up to 4 hours without reapplication.**++
**(Results under test conditions. Product will need to be reapplied after hands are washed. Do not use on wet hands as it would dilute the sanitiser.
++No commercial testing is available at the current time to validate kill ability against COVID 19)
Sursol™ is non-poisonous, alcohol-free and ideal for use with at risk patients such as alcohol dependent persons, children and the elderly.
Sursol™ is water based with natural moisturisers (aloe vera & camomile) included in the formulation this makes it safe for regular use.
SurSol Hand Sanitiser has been tested and approved for EN1500, which means it is NHS supply chain approved.
Why is it different from Alcohol gels?
Once alcohol has evaporated the germ-killing action diminishes. It is extremely effective for flash/immediate disinfection.
Extended use of alcohol sanitizers and extensive washing of the hands has been shown to lead to Irritable Contact Dermatitis (ICD).
85% of health care workers suffer from some form of ICD. As result up to 80% of health care workers in some settings do not apply a sanitizer as often as required by Infection Control.
Sursol stays active on the skin for upto 4 hours after application, meaning it has residual germ killing properties.
Sursol contains moisturisers that stop hands from drying out.
